CRPS is an uncommon chronic condition. It can be a very painful condition that starts in the arms or legs. An injury to the limb can start a cascade of events that leads to that limb often changing color, changing temperature, swelling, causing abnormalities in the hair, nails and skin. Cause of this cascade is thought to be an underlying nerve injury. CRPS can spread to other extremities. Some of the options for treatment include:
